Precisely! This young thug was not a victim in any way, shape, or form.
Even if regarded as a "victim of his own stupidity" it still unfortunately incorporates the incorrect word to describe him.
He was a vicious criminal who would murder any FReeper or similar decent person in a heartbeat.

Yes he is a victim. A victim of circumstances that he was in control of until he raised a gun and pointed it at the Officer.
His move, to the left of the scene, was safe..Raising the fun was his moving to a “point of no return.”
The correct term for him is “the decedent.”
