You’re lecturing me? What makes you think you’re qualified to lecture anyone?
By the way your comments were completely off what was stated.
No lecture was intended, but since it seems to offend your Delicate Sensibilities, I’ll give you a brief lecture on why an article V is a complete waste of time. It might sell books for Mark Levin, but its a generally useless strategy.
The achilles heel of the strategy boils down to the requirement for ratification by 3/4 of the states. Assuming that you can call the convention, limit its scope, and actually get something accomplished you’ll still face that 3/4 ratification threshold. Or said another way, 13 states could scuttle it. So, we’re going to assume that less than 13 states aren’t just fine and dandy with the status quo. States like NY, NJ, CT, MD, HI, VT, CA, OR, WA, RI, MA, ME, IL, and DE. So you would have to get all other 36 states to ratify and get at least 2 of those illustrious states to agree as well. I doubt you could get 38 states to agree that breathing was a good idea. So good luck with that article V exercise in futility.
