I agree with you... if they're NOT violent, blocking traffic or breaking other laws they should be able to protest.

Here's a question for you... If a few hundred frat boys were 'protesting' women - and shouting the slogan 'Stupid women - rape 'em'... then a few days later some frat boys came down to New York and raped two women - violently - and both died - would you be quite as open minded? Especially if the new frat boy protest included new rape slurs against women? Or if one of the Frat leaders insisted on going to the home of one of the women who died... and talking to the family before going back and defending rapists?

But that said, if they're NOT blocking traffic or breaking the law - both groups should be allowed to protest. I'm ever so confident the New York Times would be equally understanding.../s
