I’ve been saying for a while that I expect to see concentration camps in Europe in my lifetime. The only question is who will be running them?

I take no pleasure in this prediction, it’s with sad resignation I make this observation based on a close examination of 1400 years of history.

The problem is that no one has the backbone to head things like this off in the early stages. People seem to choose the appeasement mentality (the path of least resistance) until things get out of control. And then it gets really bloody.
