"Triggers and Ammo"
It's a new trigger for Ruger 10-22s, competition and self-defense ammunition, the future of gun rights, and more, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
Ruger recently introduced a new drop-in trigger called the BX-Trigger. It fits any Ruger 10-22 or 22 Charger pistol, and has a "light, crisp 2.5 - 3.0 lb. trigger pull weight with minimum overtravel and a positive reset". This Sunday, every caller that talks with Tom will receive the new BX-Trigger, compliments of Ruger! Read more about it here: http://www.ruger.com/micros/BX-Trigger/.
Paul Erhardt recently wrote a piece for The Shooting Wire about the past, present and future of the gun rights fight. He drops by Sunday to talk with Tom about where we need to focus as a whole moving forward, and how to get involved. Visit http://www.shootingwire.com/features/229370 to read Erhardt's column.
Dan Compton, Ammunition Product Specialist for ATK Sporting stops by Gun Talk with info on their new 380 HST personal defense rounds. Read more about the new personal defense ammunition at http://www.atk.com/about/business-groups/atk-sporting-group.
ELEY's Managing Director Andrew Lane and Sales and Marketing Director Dave Barton also visit with Tom this Sunday. A British company that started manufacturing ammunition since 1828, ELEY is well-known for their competition and sporting rounds. Find out more about ELEY at http://www.eley.co.uk.
2¾ pund trigger pull from the factory on a 10-22? I want one!
pound
That’s just so sweeeeeet! I wish Geiselle or Timney made one that light.
Remember what Massad Ayoub said about “re-engineering” your carry piece, in case you ever had to use it? A bad DA could indict and crucify you in court. Same for special 78gr anti-personnel ammo, hammer jobs, trick mags etc.
Be sure to do this mod to your 10/22.

You needn’t buy the part, just grind out the hole on the right to match the picture.
How do they prove you did the work?
I almost bought a S&W 357 but passed because the trigger was too light.
If I had purchased it legally, how is that on me?
I do remember that. But I wouldn’t use a 10-22 for a carry weapon ;o)
Please put me on this ping list; now I live in the country without radio, I gotta find this on the web.
Thanks
What’s the difference between an LC9s and an LC9s Pro?
You have been added.
I have that pristine ‘75 Colt Trooper Mk III .357 Mag 6”, and wanted to lighten the trigger, but was advised not to, when I carried it in a shoulder holster.
Buying a modified piece could be trouble from an anti-2A DA and jury, if they wanted to cause problems.
Price?
I have no idea.
I pulled a second shot from recoil, I said no thanks.
You’re on and welcome. I’m just assisting mylife, so will send him my copy of the updated list.
