The Talk Shows
December 21st, 2014
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich.; Sens. Ben Cardin, D-Md., and Ron Johnson, R-Wis.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Rubio; Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; Rep. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Rubio.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): President Barack Obama; Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
He has long since cleared up that little misunderstanding.
Dirtbag Cardin (RAT-MD) defending Obola’s sucking up to the Castro Communists.
The RATs have long sided with Castro evidenced by RATagandis Michael Moore’s procommunist “schlockumentary” on the wonders of Cuba’s “single payer system”.
The proper action would have been totally blowing up the government, followed by an invasion force fortified with Cuban-Americans.
That would really be nice.
Liz, what do you think of Jeb Bush announcing this early his intent to run, maybe?
Wallace: Well, we’re certainly excited as talk shows.
I’m really beginning to seriously dislike Mike Rogers...
What is the difference between him and say... Steny Hoyer? Elijah Cummings? Dick Durbin?
In other words, he’s just a democrat...
Zero has always played the race card even though he is barley half black. Even though it cost the dems dearly in the last election it works well enough that he can keep up a sufficient level of chaos even when he has exhausted everything else he could do other than executive rule through executive orders.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I assume that all of these shows are taped on Friday or Saturday.
If so, there will be little if any discussion of the NYPD police shooting on today’s shows.
Is that right?
Are there any exceptions?
George “fishnet” Will: Jeb Bush has four strikes against him:
1) Common Core.
2) Amnesty.
3) The Bush name.
4) A sign on his back that says: “establishment candidate”.
Indeed that incident was covered extensively on Fox News Sunday.
And how about that Jeb Bush?
Lookit, I think Jeb Bush should run, as I have decided.
Cause it’s time for the nasty decrepit Tea Party to finally take a stand. And Jeb Bush will be the stand because I know of no one besides the Blue Blood GOP Elite who like this guy.
Yes I understand that there’s the Tea Party and then there’s all the money from the Chamber of Commerce, et al. And I know the twain does not meet.
I say let Jeb run and the Tea Party types will go somewhere else, I can almost guarantee it.
Either we have the votes...or NOT.
Give that nomination to Jeb Bush and we shall see.
Should Jeb win, with his support of that communistic Common Core and immigration reform....then the Tea Party should just shut up.
I don’t think he has a chance.
BINGO!
From OJ onward, the vengeance industry brought to the country by the JUST-US Brothers—”Reverunds” Jackson & Sharpton—continues to lie and dramatize to fill their pockets. How many deaths have these two indirectly caused?
There is an objective truth to Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown—don’t be a thug trying to kill someone. YOU could die doing so.
On the Eric Garner issue, I’m a little concerned. There was no way Garner was just going to walk away with all those cops around him, but he still tried, and we saw on video the result of that. Was the arm crooked around his neck necessary? Having said that I think it is important for politicians to not try to ride the populist train of the “racist police” caused it. You reap what you sow.
Garner died of a heart attack—not a choke hold. Should he be arrested for selling single cigarettes? No. A ticket or fine would have been proper. Even with his priors, it is a silly thing to force a violent take down over.
That is, of course, my own opinion. Your mileage may vary!
No, or maybe. I’ve seen Sunday morning news appear on these shows from time to time. I think they do tape it, but early in the AM Sunday—or Saturday night late...
In other words, I don’t know! :-)
My goodness I am so glad you brought up the history of Cuba.
Don’t know how old the rest of you are, but I remember the tragic Bay of Pigs, the Cuban blockade, the Cuban Missile crisis. Cuba’s has the advantage of being real close to America and that is its claim to fame.
Even I, who lived through all this and remember hiding under my desk in Catholic school when the sirens went off, am confused as to what our embargo is doing, if good...or NOT.
I’ve got an idea....the Republicans maybe take a stand. Now I know that Rubio is but come on! Those guys need to get out and blast this administration and the cop-killings they are causing, they need to make the argument against this Cuban thing, if there is one cause I’ll be honest, I’m not so sure buying cigars from Cuba would be such a bad thing.
I know, it’s the same old, same old, expecting leadership from the GOP elite.
Silly me.
Liz?
It has already been mentioned on FOX and ABC. It will be covered by all I expect.
MORNING COUSIN MIKE!
Good to see you.
Tell me about Cuba if you could.
I was just learning to read back then, like about 5 YO. I always wondered why Kennedy pronounced it like it was spelled "Cuber".
Ah, back in the day.
I LOVED John Kennedy and adored JAckie.
Yeah, I know history has changed my view of things but JFK did stand up to Russia and it was really scary.
JFK was a reprobate with the ladies, I know, and he really, really messed up that Bay of Pigs.
But he was the ONLY Kennedy that ever did anything considered leadership; the rest of them just rode his coattails.
I’m still not convinced that this Cuban embargo is the best thing at this point in time....
BTW, those shootings last night are being covered by Meet the Press.
