I could certainly see how the NYPD cops would simply refuse to patrol or respond to the worst areas. Then it’s DiBlasio’s move. And when the honest citizens who live in those areas discover what it’s like with no protection from the police, I would think that City Hall might become a little uncomfortable for the mayor.
Of course, that’s what they want, “No Go Zones”.
Next thing you know it will be the Muslims who will keep order there with “Sharia Zones.”
That’s why the Muslims were so involved in Ferguson.
FOX’s Charles Payne said today that he grew up in a bad neighborhood, and they used to complain that there were no cops to protect them, and now they complain there are too many cops.
.......I sure hope this doesn’t happen as the cops ARE the thin blue line of protection for hundreds of thousands of old people, single moms and so on in NY.
I also think that many, many NY cops are conscientious enough that they would show up no matter what.
I remember going to NYC as a Texas born and bred kid of 18 and encountering “those big friendly white guy cops”. Seemed every one of them was 6’ 4” to me back then.
Just turn their heads the other way and let the urban ferals slice and dice each other. “Escape From New York” may not be far from where we are headed.
