Sorry. I've been away an extended period of time. Pacific Northwestern is a distinct regional cuisine. Seafood's a big part of it, including cold water seafood such as salmon and King crab. Claims, including geoduck. Large wild game - moose, elk, caribou. Wild mushrooms and berries, lots of varieties of berries.

It's a real thing.

Over here on the other end, we have much of the same stuff. Substitute Maine Lobster for King Crab, clams, salmon, haddock, scallops. We also have moose, venison, black bear blueberries.

In addition to the regular New England traditional dishes, we also have the mix of Acadian (French Canadian) styles. Some very close (of course) to Cajun.
