Yeah I agree. Even for someone who hunts and hikes a lot a sighting would probably be a once in a lifetime chance at best. Other animals like Yotes by nature make their presence much more known. An hour or two right at and after sundown or same time window at dawn you can hear them. Also if you see a calf or a deer kill etc with the butt ate up you'll know a Yote is close by.

A Cougar as such is stealth in habits except their kill which in a more remote location will likely rot away before it's ever discovered.
