As long as you want to chime in, I will say I came to this thread blind, with no knowledge of or participation in any prior threads relating to any of the Poster’s in question vis a vis Russia or anything.
I read the OP as negative on US troops fighting ISIS.
Re-reading I still see that, and at best it is ambiguous.
That doesn’t mean it does not also criticize Obama in the way you state.
In fact that is part and parcel of the tone of the post. That this is Obama’s fight (that is wrong to do) that he is trying to hide.
That is how I read it.
If the OP does not think that, a clarification would have been simple.
