Racial identity? I suppose he meant cultural identity. But that too is a strange characterization given Israel’s democratic way and the personal nature of Judaism which normally doesn’t impinge the inhabited society.

Please not that the quote of Soder ended BEFORE the words “their racial identity” appeared. Those were NOT Soder’s words, but were carefully chosen to slander him by misleading casual readers. I’ve learned that I have to look critically at EVERYTHING I read (and hear) to understand whether there is an attempt to demonize someone (particularly someone who is conservative).
