Obama didn’t play a deuce in his world. He threw a lifeline to a communist dictatorship and further weakened the US at the same time. It is another win for Team Obama and a loss for the rest of us.
It the Castros would have allowed free and open access to the media, no restrictions on external publications, freedom of travel and the internet it would have been a good deal. This is what destroyed the old Soviet Block. This was Henry Kissinger’s “Detent.” I thought Kissinger was a fool. I was wrong.
Obama got nothing. In effect he has prolonged and propped up a brutal dictatorship. The real question is why he would do this. I truly believe Obama is a Marxist.
He pisses on our friends and aids our enemies. Occam’s Razor would dictate he is an ally of our enemies nor a patriot of our great nation.
