"These actions are feeding a Cruz presidential frenzy," Deace said. ""They're saying to people, 'Hey, you're looking for the guy that's going to come here and drop a neutron bomb on the system? This is the guy.' This is the one they don't like.'" Go, Cruz, GO!

This is what leaders are made of. Principle and courage. McConnell is a dirty coward and will not be remembered for anything except for his actions that put the Republic in dire straits.

The reason why both the Democrats and the GOP are loathed by the American people is they’re a corrupt cartel whose only interest is serving the rich and powerful.
There’s not much love in the country for Washington’s insider politicians.

And there is the Problem right there, the so called leaders. Just because you are in charge does not mean you are a leader.
I vote Ted Cruz for Senate Majority Leader.

You just have to chuckle at lines like that. Tell pray what do they call Obama’s executive amnesty and rule by fiat?

Less pragmatic lawmaking. MORE ideological (return to the Constitution) warfare!

Ted Cruz is right. And he votes like we want him to, not like the liars who said they were against ObamaCare and amnesty, and then voted for the Democrats’ 1.1 TRILLION budget that funded every Obama program. (Louisiana’s Cassidy should be renamed Judas, for betraying his voters less than a week after his election.)

The move, dismissed as futile by leaders in both parties, ignited an instant uproar in the halls of Congress, further burnishing Cruz's image as a tea party firebrand less concerned with pragmatic lawmaking than ideological warfare. So now, making sure Congress controls immigration policy, instead of the President, is ideological warfare???
PING!
To: Jim Robinson
Any GOP senator, or house member, who turns down and invite to join Cruz is making a bad bet
There is no way Cruz doesn’t gain momentum. Just an opinion, of course

Asking the government to govern according to the highest law in the land, the U.S. Constitutions, is now considered "ideological". Could you imagine if that principle applies to everyone?
"Of course I robbed the bank and murdered a few people, what are you? Some kind of ideologist? Stop being such a firebrand!"

I expect the brains and principled determination of Cruz, to out maneuver the gamesmanship of McConnell.
WIth his 22 followers, and likely adding 7 of the 9 field advantage held by Republicans in the new Senate, we may see Cruz with a 29 to 25 majority, among GOP Senators.
So, unless Mitch wants to start caucusing with the Dems in broad daylight, he better learn to pay Ted a bit more respect.
Mitch simply doesn’t have the luxury of threatening 29 Senators with back bench assignments....and risks having his own arse planted in a back bench if he’s not careful.

...new Republican leadership intent on shedding Congress' image of dysfunction. Therein lies the problem. They just want to "go along" to "get along" rather than stand up for the preservation of the constitution and our country.
