Apparently all the troops in the background were selected because of their ethnicity or gender. In reality 15% of total military are women and 75% are white.

There are 9 faces in the background, three are women (33%). You'll have to watch the video to come up with you own estimate of racial make-up. But, it nothing like the composition stated in this website:

I would venture to guess that ALL of those who were there, were told to go. A few may have wanted to go, but the vast majority probably didn't want to be there. They would have had to drag me kicking and screaming to see that individual.

Mandatory audience duty: schedule the venue, fill it to the roof.

While I was in the AF, President G.W. Bush visited Eglin AFB in FL. Due to ticket demand, they had to get a bigger venue. He filled an aircraft hangar.
