Nonsense. That would be a clear case of the cop doing all he could to save a life. He can’t control everything that can go wrong, especially medically, but he can control whether he bothers to try. He didn’t bother to try.
It is from crap like this that I hope one day a cop needs me to save his life. Because as much value as they’ve shown for our lives, I’ll let him die.

That statement certainly is nonsense. Anyone who believes it would have to excuse any inaction on the part of any official. What? the fire department didn't respond? That's okay, they were probably afraid of being sued for some reason or another.
