You got a point that this caught most of US News off guard as here it was Sunday night and they were sleeping. I used the Sky News Feed and had BBC World News on as well which also was on it but even BBC took an hour off when it left the broadcast in London as the BBC 1 in London picked up BBC World News coverage but BBC came back later on and remains on it now.
However CNN, Fox News and MSNBC did a poor job. CNN only began coverage when CNN picked up the CNNI feed overnights as it has for some months.
If not for FR, I wouldn’t have been aware of it at all. When I first sat down at the computer and pulled up FR, the first thread I saw was about it. Been here all night keeping up with ABC 24 and FR.
FOX and CNN seem to have minimal staff on duty during weekend nights and run on auto-pilot. If not for CNNI, they still wouldn’t be covering it.
