A hostage has been forced to hold up an Islamic State flag in the window of a shop in Martin Place that is currently under siege.
It is believed there are 12 hostages in the store and an ISIS flag has been placed in the window.
Martin Place is the main financial area of the Sydney CBD.

I’ve been with this all night..media’s basically repeating what is know, as you know.
I do believe there’s bombs or explosives of some nature involved which gunman controls because they could have taken him out already, likely several times over as he was clearly in view of any marksman in that window.
Not surprised some will be in shock....we don’t know how serious it is inside the building....it was enough for me to see those girls faces as they ran that it’s a potential deadly situation.
Mag...on 2 who is that saying..that’s it at the tail end there? Woman’s voice but why would she wrap it up? Did he have someone prior planted on the inside to assist him before he got there?

CNN reports Channel 7 tweeted that hostage taker is seen walking around with an iPad.

Likely using one of the hostages or one planted prior. Either way he’s going to get stupid somewhere along the way...they always do.
He’s been up all night, “unless” he has someone assisting who was already there before he arrived, but I still think he’s jacked on a drug that can keep him alert. Someone wrote day 3 or 4 paranoia sets in if he is.
Makes me wonder how calm I could be in a situation as that? But then time has passed and likely some are just in stun mode.

Note again woman at end puts a wrap on it...sounds mature not like a young person...I’d bet he’s got someone helping....obvious these hostages are being made to sound this way but at the end......what do you think?

I’m going through the NT and notice that when Jesus speaks of the kingdom of heaven, it is the heaven/earth kingdom after the destruction of this universe. Too many Christians have not read the OT. He always brings up the false teachers who have scattered the people. The rapture theology has so many people duped.

Our reporter who can see into the cafe from Ch 7 newsroom estimates there are perhaps 10 hostages still inside.
Actually, I don’t think he’s been up all night. This started around 11:00 am Monday morning, Australian Eastern Daylight Time. It’s now just about Midnight Tuesday. So lack of sleep is not an issue for him, yet.

Yep...not surprised...but I heard all of them... and I’ll tell you there’s a woman assiting him IMO. She cut two of the girls off right away...”ok that’s it”....and she’s also the one filming them because her voice was close to the video-cam she’s using.
It’s also the expression of the girls faces when she cut them off...body language says a whole lot....additionally they’’re using different people to make their demands....each time the demands are stated more demanding then the one prior......obviously he hasn’t been given what he wanted to date or they wouldn’t be putting four of these out there.
Be ready for him to attempt another....likely on you tube...which might be why he’s using the I-pad to put them up.

Never mind they took it off...but I heard it again...I will stand on what I’ve said...he’s got a woman helping him and I don’t think it’s a hostage
