A hostage has been forced to hold up an Islamic State flag in the window of a shop in Martin Place that is currently under siege.
It is believed there are 12 hostages in the store and an ISIS flag has been placed in the window.
Martin Place is the main financial area of the Sydney CBD.

As with some of our Canadian head cases, it appears that the perp here was in some part conditioned by the leftist victim-paradigm industry where the chattering classes plant various anti-social ideas wherever they wish, and then step away and claim no responsibility when a ticking time bomb goes off. Then they congregate on television to “explain” to us what we are seeing. Time that the ordinary citizens gave them the boot (the enablers and the professional victims alike) and denormalized their mindless babble.
Sad and furious about the apparent loss of innocent life, or even any injuries. But as a society we have brought this on ourselves to some extent by not rising up against these leftists in charge of the media and academic institutions. Those are the truly dangerous ones.
It looks dd from our limited vantage, I suspect that it all makes a lot more sense from the operator’s eye view. Wonder if we’ll ever see any Go-Pro or Bodycam of this. (Probably no)
