Thanks elhombrelibre.
Unfortunately most, but not all politicians are crooks, one way or another and it doesn’t matter if it is here or abroad. On the other hand a good portion of the public likes to be lied to, otherwise they never would vote for a specific politician in the first place. Sad but true
Yet to think critically you need to make distinctions and note differences where and when they exist. Otherwise, you’re doing what the liberals do when they make a moral equivalence. There is a difference between the scale and scope of Putin’s theft. It’s personal. He enriches himself on a scale rarely seen. He may be the richest man in the world. Yes, we have corruption, but thankfully not as bad as Putin’s Russia.
I see your assertion. Where is your evidence? If you’re too fond of Putin to hear what’s wrong with him, just say so. The Left had it’s fellow travelers who for years wouldn’t accept the truth about the communists. Maybe you’re like that compared to Putin. And the Obama-robots cannot accept the truth about him.
My thoughts EXACTLY.....amateurs...
Bingo
We’re in no condition here at home to worry about Putin. I wouldn’t want our military involved in any more than they are already involved in. You gotta remember, our CIC is a Marxist.
Once we wrest power back from the traitors in the executive, we can worry about Putin
Your assertion that trebb’s comment is a defense of Putin is really kind of silly in my opinion. One does not automatically condemn Putin because he believes our US Administration is so much better at graft, greed, handouts and cronyism than Putin.
To my mind, Obama, Clinton(s), et al are cut from the same cloth as Putin. They’re just better at it.
How many politicians have amassed 70 billion dollars from being a mere crook?
Okay, I read the source. It seems Bloomberg made a factual headline from interview allegations, cross-cites of multiple news estimates and a guess from Google on Putin’s wealth. I don’t argue he’s definitely rich. My argument that the power secured by the Democrat political dynasty (all our worst in the highest places) creates a much vaster arsenal - not just money.
I guess if Google says so, it’s true....
So you think Obama and Clinton have stashed away tens of billions of dollars? Seriously? And you think Trebb’s assertion that Obama and Clinton have stolen more is correct? Seriously? I do think Clinton left office and Obama will. Putin is staying and is a third world president-for-life type.
You obviously missed my intended point - perhaps I should clarify: Title said Putin awarded $8 Bn in contracts to cronies. My observation was that our politicians have him beat by a mile. I had no other ulterior motives/points to make. If that isn't clear, or if you still have issue, please take a look at all the mega-rich politicians who couldn't possibly have become that way just on their known salaries/incomes - it took a bunch of selling us down the road via illegal and very lucrative "deals". I stand by my assertion in that context - compared to our leadersrulers, Putin is a piker.
Frankly, it’s fair to say that Putin basically owns the soviet union, I mean Russia. Do you think the same applies in the USA?
What did google say about his wealth?
Yet you fail to name a single one of your rulers. I guess you’d rather slander our whole system than one guilty American that is real.
This is trebb's original comment. I guess you were originally thinking money, but "theft" does not have to be solely monetary. Far more valuable things can be stolen than tangible money. Freedom, liberty, the right to choose... Whether trebb related to your post correctly (as you were intending) does not automatically mean he is a Putin lover, and that was my point.
