Those six states are largely Libtard - they oppose fracking, pipelines, even a transmission line to bring in hydro-power.

If we were smart we could use this as a teachable moment and turn those states red.

Maine is mostly red. Except for Pot-land.

NH has recently voted for the democrats but Rockingham County where Salem is is one of the most conservative counties in USA. Check it out. So much for libtards.

The reason for the high cost of power goes back to Governor Sununu when he pushed Seabrook nuclear plant against the wishes of the voters. The plant has so much excess capacity, when PSNH went bancrupt because of low power sales the court order, led by Sununu, was to shut all of the medium hydro producers, paying them off using higher electricity bills as cash.
That worked for a while but power now was expensive so investors built a very large NG turbine powered co gen plant in Londonderry which is cheaper than the nuke plant. Power companies would rather buy the alternative cheaper. However, Seabrook is protected, so the price of power becomes set higher.

Reaspecting the proposed NG pipeline, most of the state can not use NG as the ground is too rocky and users too far apart to make it viable. There are users on the seacoast and the corridor from Salem to Concord that can sustain the NG economy. The proposed pipeline is to move gas to Maine and perhaps augment Salem, Nashua, and Manchester. I am for it but not having it has nothing to do with NH having the highest electric costs in USA. For that we need to thank Sununu, now a multi millionaire and owner of Waterville Valley ski area....I wonder how he made all that money as governor and chief of staff for GHWB? Can you say Seabrook? Typical GOP crony capitalism...

I have lived, camped in, and studied in two of those six NE Libtard infested states, and travelled through the rest.

Teaching a NE Libtard is like teaching an ape to write.

I am not Jesus, therefore I do not have eternity, and won’t spend time on Libtards. Another reason not to attempt teaching NE Libtards is that I can’t even walk on water.

Simply not accepting brown-outs or rolling power outages so that the lives of NE Libtards can be saved from their self inflicted hypothermia WILL solve the Libtard issue.

After a significant number are allowed to die as a consequence of their votes, the survivors may be ready to revise their premises. Until such a die off occurs, the Libtards will continue to prove Churchill’s insight when he said that most men can trip over truth, get up, and hurry off as though nothing had happened.

Libtards listened to Obama who told them his energy policy would cause their energy costs “to skyrocket”. That time Obama told the truth. What Obama didn’t tell them is that as part of his plan to destroy America, he would force destruction of so many coal fired electric plants that there would NOT be any electricity if any part of an already overworked/aging energy sytem failed during an emergency. They still voted for Obama. Let them die for that rather than
depriving others of a single kilowatt.

Those who would empower destruction of America under the rubric of “transforming America” are as treasonous as Obama. Let me repeat: Not one kilowatt for the treasonous Libtards!”

After a massive hypothermia die off of Libtards, the survivors may be able to revise their premises.

Sorry to be the bearer of dismal predictions.
