The GOP went willingly and enthusiasticly.

The GOP doesn’t get my money any more, but I’d go all-in on such an effort. Something dramatic like this has to be done, or we’ll see them try to buy the nomination and force Jeb down our throats.

Hold on a sec. Did people going on record for amnesty materialize? That was the point of this.
Yep.

Most folks here probably don’t even know who is the person’s picture you

Hey, but I do. He is a Brit from an earlier era. And I get it!

Quite a few Republicans playing the game of voting for one conservative position, but not the other. Interesting to see some who voted with Cruz, but for the Omnibus spending bill. And some who voted against Cruz, and also against the Omnibus bill.

Playing the same old a$$ covering game with their votes.

The ‘shutdown’ nonsense is just a monstrous straw man. The public would have supported moves to restrict Obama’s illegal amnesty moves by a large margin.

Yep. The only plausible answer is that the GOPe also wants amnesty. They think they can slide the funding for it into the omnibus bill unnoticed but they are sadly mistaken.

Unfortunately for them, the Dems will double cross them again and not support whatever DHS funding bill Boehner comes up with. When the vichy GOP are bare ass to the wind in February and forced to vote to fund amnesty again I will LOL at their narcissism and greed.

I wonder how Joni Ernst would have voted on these?

Let’s just stop paying taxes. The House...the REPUBLICAN HOUSE cannot control spending. It’s time we do it. I am tired of eating these crap sandwiches.

There's actually some justification for this; see 22 U.S. Code § 2780 - Transactions with countries supporting acts of international terrorism.

A United States person may not take any of the following actions:
[…]
(D) Taking any other action which would facilitate the acquisition, directly or indirectly, of any munitions item by the government of any country described in subsection (d) of this section, or any person acting on behalf of that government, if the United States person has reason to know that that action will facilitate the acquisition of that item by such a government or person.
Now, am I to believe that Libya, Iraq, Syria, Iran haven't had any help from the US government?

Cruz for all intents and purposes is the leader of the Senate now. DU and another site I check on noted for its GOPe select are currently having a cow about Cruz, but he is solidifying his credentials quite nicely. I do lean more toward Walker, but Cruz would be a great fit at either end of ticket. Some mention Perry/Cruz, but I don’t see a Texas/Texas ticket working out (Electoral balance)

As if we needed more proof, the federal Beast no longer has ANY legitimate authority over We The People.

We have ZERO representation in this Imperial Fascist Oligarchy now ruling us.

Therefore, in the mold of our Founders - we should no longer subject ourselves to the edicts, “laws” and rules of the Oligarchy in D.C. Obama declares himself above the actual Law of the Land - and Congress enables him and his regime to do so.

Therefore, they are completely illegitimate, and have no moral or ethical authority over us except the guns they would put to our heads to force compliance.

Defy.

Refuse.

Resist.

It has come to this.

Party is not going to save us. NOTHING is going to reform Washington D.C.

NOTHING.

It is a tyranny, working to subjugate our children and grandchildren to trillions upon trillions in unpayable debt - and illegal foreign nationals that are given our wealth, blood, sweat and tears while they fund the Jihadists who vow to kill us all. Anyone supporting the Federal Beast should be considered a traitor and in league with evil at this point forward.

It is past time to refuse their authority over us.

Law states that it is up to Lurch to publish those that are on the restricted list... I doubt Libya, Iran, et al are on that published list... maybe Chik-Fil-A, and Hobby Lobby, and FreeRepublic.com, but not Iran.
