Wasn’t the point. Can you folks cross over vote in the pubbie party primaries?

No.
But neither is that the point.
Absent Cruz or better at the top of the ticket, my 40 years of voting will quite likely be coming to an end.

I’ve had my leg pissed on too many times, and it still hasn’t rained since RR.
Sprinkled a little bit with W, but even that dried up after awhile.

You do what you like, but I’m done with Quislings and Chamberlains.

g’night

Even though Cruz was able to make the Senate stay open today, the end result is the Dems were able to get more of Obama’s nominees moved forward because they could hold provisional votes. Cruz not only did not stop the spending bill but he has allowed more of Obama’s nominees for judges and administrative posts to be approved.

I know Polutico and perhaps other sites have been pushing the idea that Cruz somehow made Obummer’s nominations possible, but Eric Erickson puts the lie to that in a good piece at RedState.com.

Did Ted Cruz just pave the way for confirming a wave of Obama nominees?

Oh, and Cruz and Lee were unable to get a vote on their amendment. It was always clear they wouldn’t.

Democrats say they are delighted with the fruits of the Saturday session. Here’s Chuck Schumer: “What Cruz did aided and abetted us getting nominations.” Here’s Benjamin Cardin: “It’s inconvenient to be here voting around the clock. But at least we get our work done.”

Eric Erickson explained that he did no such thing.

Every additional day that the Democrats are given to extend this session is to Obama’s benefit.
