Cruz questioned whether McConnell and Boehner are fully committed to battling Obama on immigration.
I would note that a whole lot of citizens across the country feel a little bit like Charlie Brown with Lucy and the football, wherein fight after fight leadership in Congress says, well fight next time not this time, no, no, no. The wise thing to do is to fight in a month, fight in two months, he said on the Senate floor.
The senior Democratic aide noted McConnell left the Capitol Friday evening apparently believing he had a deal with Reid to avoid a weekend vote-a-rama, telling reporters, see ya Monday.
Senator McConnell left the Capitol apparently thinking there was a deal but his caucus rejected it after he left, while Senator Cruz took to the Senate floor to openly question Senator McConnells honesty and integrity, the aide said.

I could gather from article in Breitbart that the Constitutional POINT OF ORDER vote would not need a revote in the House but that Warren could attempt to get an amendment for her cause on campaign finance requiring a vote in the house. Not so for Cruz maybe there’s another ace card...deals with libs to get the Warren amendment to the Senate floor...forcing a revote for cromnibus overall thus blocking all the measures...not sure
#bootBoehner is good....
Quack. Ouch. Quack. Ouch.
Harry Reid, forced to conceding that he’s a lame duck.

I don’t like that graphic, for a CruzControl thread. I think the RINO should be flat on the ground, with the elephant walking right over him.
Yes. He had to come back.
Around 12:00 noon or so, Harry Reid and Dick Durbin were having a fake conversation, you know, the kind where they faux question each other to get their remarks on the record.
Durbin asked if a certain Senator who was hanging up the works was the same Senator who shutdown the government last year.
Harry Reid replied, yes it is the same Senator.
They were alluding to Cruz but would not use his name.
Cruz has the power to shut down the government!!! All by himself.
Now, Elizabeth Warren, by insisting on her amendment , will do the exact same thing as Ted Cruz did last year—gum up the works.
But the great Lieawatha will be praised as a principled legislator, almost as rare as a 1/32 Cherokee, if you know what I mean.

Which just goes to show, if we could get a Speaker like Cruz, imagine what could get done.
There is one #FireBoehner they r out there been on Twitter nonstop
Imagine, a Right that would fight for it’s agenda as viciously as the Left does for it’s agenda.
******
Did Boehner betray the midterm voters who voted for Republicans?
We were told over and over to vote for Republicans so Republicans could fight against and halt ObamaCare and Amnesty.
What happened?
I think your analysis is correct. Fun times, maybe.
See that Boehner?

My predictive skills are foggy with the recent Boehner/McConnell surrendering with white flags at every turn, but it looks like Cruz played Possum, and is going to gum up the works until the new House and Senate are sworn in.
The main reason I believe that is Reid seems to have tucked tail, and Cornyn is nowhere to be found.
yea, I got lazy with the post...I usally put STOP THIS at the beginning
