Given that amnesty (whatever it is ultimately called) is supported by the Republican party leadership (and, of course, their money spigot), the Democrat party, and the president, I don't believe it is the height of fantasy to presuppose that it may occur in the next five years. We whacked one mole. But, unfortunately, the mole that is amnesty will simply keep popping up. It is not over. Not by a long shot.I always thought the best shot is to have a great number of elected Conservatives in the GOP leave en mass to a new party. We could pick a date, July 4, 2015. They could leave and make a very bold statement for Liberty.
Bold action must taken to save our Republic. Two things must happen to save our Republic. The first, destroy the GOPe politically and second destroy the evil Left politically.
In the age of the Internet it should be easier to create a new party and get people to move to it.
Something has to happen - the GOP and the RAT party has ZERO interest in rolling back government.

This has a much better chance of happening than people think. Consider this: had Ross Perot not dropped out of the race, he had a legitimate chance of winning the presidency, and, had he done so, the reform party would have been a legitimate party overnight. Ross Perot did these, even though the level of discontent (at every point on the political spectrum) was a tiny fraction of what it is now, and despite the fact that my left shoe has more charisma than he has. And, despite the fact that most people would have been scared to death if they had to share the road with his running mate (no disrespect meant towards Admiral Stockdale, just that he didn't exactly inspire confidence), and his "party" didn't even exist.
Why was Ross Perot able to do this? Simple: a clear consistent message, spoken directly to the people, and one which simply laid out how things are, and what he would do. No magic. No high paid consultants. No branding. Just a simple, direct, non-condescending message.
The "en mass" exit you describe, could very easily create a viable major party, overnight. Many of the people who now claim it to be impossible will later say they saw it coming all along (these are the same types of people who said Reagan was unelectable, and then scrambled to declare Reagan's political prowess after the fact).
