Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh railed against provisions in the cromnibus that relaxed campaign finance rules on Friday, saying that it was designed to "basically eliminate [the Tea Party] as a viable threat," and "how corporate America is going to defeat the Tea Party."
He explained "that campaign finance stuff...I'm going to tell you exactly what that is...the limits have practically been obliterated which means that corporate donors can just start giving left and right."
Limbaugh continued "This is how corporate America is going to defeat the Tea Party. By allowing limitless donations from that crowd under the rubric that its campaign finance and money is speech and freedom of speech and 1st Amendment, the theory is that Main Street, Tea Party people can't come close to competing with corporate money and so it is a Republican Establishment ploy that kind of dovetails nicely with Obama siccing the IRS on the Tea Party to basically eliminate them as a viable threat by relaxing a regulation in Dodd-Frank that pretty much permits corporations to spend any kind of money they want on politics."
Earlier, he declared "our Speaker of the House [got] in bed with Obama and advances the Obama agenda, takes care of it, amnesty, Obamacare, fully funded, done deal, the election must not have mattered."

They want to see to it that republicans ONLY lose to democrats, for that's the natural order of things.
Bob Bennett, Richard Lugar, Lisa Murkowski, Arlen Specter, Charlie Crist, David Dewhurst, Mike Castle, Thad Cochran, Eric Cantor, etc. These incidents must NEVER be allowed to happen again!
Their coffers were drained in 2014, and they will change the laws to allow them to be refilled.
Strange. I’m a Tea Partier, and no “Cromnibus” is going to eliminate me.
They keep misspelling “cronybus.”
I do not see how we can do anything if we don’t have a third party. I’d like to call it “Conservative Republican”—
” Earlier, he declared “our Speaker of the House [got] in bed with Obama and advances the Obama agenda, takes care of it, amnesty, Obamacare, fully funded, done deal,”
Anyone who didn’t see this in November, shame on you.
So are we back to supporting McCain Feingold?
1,000
We either stand togeather or they will hang us all........
A third party is a fools errand....we MUST eliminate the Boner, McConnel, types ourselves and take over the party. The elites are not going to go quietly. They are not going to go off an sulk while we carry out our plans, they will fight to their last breath.
That’s why I didn’t vote.
Turns out I had no reason to regret my decision.
I feel sorry for the millions of suckers misled into thinking the Republicans are conservatives.
Conservatism wasn’t on the ballot in November.
FR’s RINO fan boys didnt. They were all about talking down to conservatives voicing doubt. They told us that RINOs were better than liberals. Frankly I just dont see how they could detect any difference. As we can all see RINOs are no different than liberals. Hmmmm...who knew.
And so we introduce the grassroots conservative “Free Republic PAC!” In the very least, we should be able to influence some congressional elections.
I’m not going to be eliminated...but I’m not an official Tea Party person either....I’m on my own....
people throw their votes away with such ease...
C’mon Ohio, recall Boehner!
Is this traitorous act what you signed off for in this politician? This is your chance to make history and hold this leader, who is a traitor to our Constitution (which they are sworn to uphold), accountable. The dems won’t hold their traitorous leaders accountable but we can.

The only thing that is going to change this is if the Chamber of Commerce-types are forced to try and live under a few years of hard-left Democrat socialism. Then we will have all kinds of leverage with them if they expect us to show up and save them with our votes.
I will not vote for a liberal republican.

This sentence should be a MUST READ for all Freepers every morning before breakfast.
This fantasy of a third party is indeed a fools errand. We can take over the GOP. If we weren't such a threat to do so we would be ignored instead of attacked.
