Fake but accurate. It does not matter if the story is true. Article after article is now about rape. It is simply a device to get the subject on the front page. Period.

The next step will be pushing new laws, rules, etc. based on a lie.

And the whole issue of what constitutes “fair and equitable” law enforcement is an analog. It’s like “we don’t really have a case by case description of “excessive force,” but somehow we are expected to “know it when we see it.” The matter, like rape is “issue driven” by each “side,” and the truth gets thrown under the bus. Seems as though we have devolved into everything being “political.”

“It does not matter if the story is true”

Remember, the issue is never the issue. The issue always the revolution.

The author of the RS piece expressly admits that she targeted UVA because it “lacked a radical feminist culture.”

IOW, UVA lacked an on-campus revolutionary cadre. So they 1.) needed to be punished and 2.) needed to be incentivized to stand one up. Look at the placards held up by the “protesters” who occupied the fraternity’s front porch. They weren’t about rape or justice ... they were about organization building.
