Another day, another nail in the coffin of Rolling Stones now infamous tale. This afternoon, the Washington Post reports that Jackies three friends explicitly reject some key claims that were made about their behavior:

I posted this recent rehash on NRO:
Sometimes I mix up narrative and dialogue and points of view, so forgive me. But I’m a really good judge of character, so I’m sure this story was true.
A male freshman from an Ivy League school recently confided in me that he had been raped by nine female staff in the faculty lounge. Raped with objects. Viciously. For three hours. He had been tricked into going there ostensibly to go over his Psychology 101 term paper, which was getting an F because it did not seem to sincerely enough support homosexual marriage and trans-gender rights.
When he arrived at the staff lounge, he was hit from behind with a softball bat. He crashed to the floor, breaking a glass table, and then he lost consciousness. But when he came-to, he found himself on the floor a midst the glass, being held down and raped by the nine Womens Studies Department profs. Raped with objects imaginable and unimaginable. He remembered some of their voices, knew them from other courses, and this is what they said, while they did it to him. In the glass.
One of them named Sandy said, Think gays dont deserve equal rights? Try this one for size!
One of them named Gretchen came at him with a ...
(How is my version more or less credible than “Jackies?”

UVa 1979. Wahoo-wah.
Very sad times for The U.
I think you copied that from penthouse forum.
This is beginning to look like a sort of a Munchausen’s case - Jackie made it up or greatly exaggerated another experience to draw attention to herslf.
Jackie is clearly a pathological liar.
No, from Rolling Stone. It’s the same, but through a mirror.
Ha. You crack me up.
I think she is too. Or maybe she’s a mental case.
One thing I noticed in an earlier article, I think a WaPo one but not sure, was that Jackie said that she was taking medicine for migraines, and that’s why she knows she wasn’t drinking that night.
Well, I’ve looked up if migraines are a symptom of mental illness, and while that’s not necessarily true, they are often seen together. (I have a sister who often has migraines, and I think she has some sort of mental illness. I think she’s bipolar, but she refuses to tell me that she is being treated for only depression. Depression alone doesn’t explain her manic phases. I think she’s not completely honest with her therapist...yet.)
At any rate, Jackie has obviously made things up. My sister is the same way. She talks about things in the past in a very different way than I remember them. Like Jackie, I know that some of the things she has told me happened to other people in our family...not her.
So I think Jackie has made things up. They aren’t true, but she believes them.
As for her scars that Erdely says she saw, Jackie could easily have done those herself.
She has posted “cutter” pics in her pinterest. Her entire site is about rape and support of homosexuality. She has issues.
Actually, this reminds me of the writing style of Edgar Allan Poe in some of his stories.
Well done, sir.
Whoa. Now I’m freaking myself out.
It appears that Poe attended UVA in 1826. Crazy literary hyperbolic schizophrenic subconscious freakazoid bizarre sexual perverse undergrads striking the same campus twice in 200 years?
Whoulda thunkit?
possible scenario: Jackie performs oral sex on several men. Upon regretting it, she claims it was rape as many fake rape accusers do.
