Teen girl doused, burned alive in Mississippi

A grisly killing in a small town in Mississippi has local residents on edge and looking for answers.

A blond-haired teenager with no known enemies was found walking down a rural road on fire Saturday night. She had been beaten, doused with lighter-fluid and set ablaze.

Jessica Chambers Jessica Chambers, 19, of Panola County was found engulfed in flames near the charred shell of her car sitting on the roadside in the town of Courtland. The town has a population of 460.

She was flown to a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, but later died. Preliminary autopsy results reveal Jessica died of severe burns to 98 percent of her body, according to a report by Fox affiliate WAFF of Huntsville, Alabama.

“They have ripped everything I have,” Lisa Chambers, Jessica’s mother, told WAFF. “She left to go clean out her car and was going to get her something to eat.”

Jessica never made it home.

Her father, Ben Allen Chambers Sr., said investigators told him his daughter whispered something to first responders before going unconscious. He and others believe Jessica told them who her attackers were.

“When the fire department got there, she was walking down the road on fire,” he said in WAFF’s report. “Only part of her body that wasn’t burned was the bottom of her feet.”

Fighting back tears, the father then described how his daughter’s attackers knocked her out, and squirted lighter fluid down her throat and in her nose.

I was talking to a friend at work from Ireland and she said they are protesting because the gov wants to charge them more for water. She said they are already paying for water but the gov wants more she says it is the European Union doing this.

I think all this garbage going on now is coming from the fact our gov is easing into governance by the EU. From all the socialism going on to the torture investigation I think is following EU guidelines rather than our laws and constitution. I don’t know, maybe it is my mind working overtime but it seems to me to be logical.

I'm in an email loop with some online friends which began before 9-11...a few have dropped out since then, but two are longtime Freepers, and one of them was a moderate-to-liberal Chicago Republican who was taken with Obama when he came onto the scene.

This woman once asked us if we had any racial dating preferences, and as it turned out, a few of us did---and she was offended by them. She had a teenaged daughter who had a black male friend, and she admitted that it always made her feel good for the two of them to be seen together, because it made the point that her daughter wasn't a racist.

After being angered by our responses about our taste in men, this self-satisfied "tolerant" individual said that she thought Indian people were filthy and smelled bad.

She ended up arguing with us about being more open-minded politically, and she left the loop, but not before calling me a backward Southern hick. :)

I suggest you check out the crime statistics and find out which group has by far the preponderance of violent criminal records, thefts, etc. Ask yourself, what are the chances and do the calculations.

Blacks are less intelligent than whites, speaking in terms of groups. That you chose to call such a tested and validated fact “silly” might be a reason to examine your premise.

Yes, there are blacks such as Carson, Sowell, Justice Thomas - - but that does not in any way invalidate the observation that, on average, 5 of six blacks will have lower IQ scores that the average white.

As for the obesity factor amongst blacks, especially black females, may I suggest looking up “steatopygia”?

Seems Mr. Evolution gave black females the useful ability to store surplus energy in the form of fat AND so did by letting the black females carry it over their buttocks/midrift area where it caused less heat stress tha all over body fat deposition, such as is found in white females adapted to colder climates where the whole body insulation was an adaptive advantage.

Can’t fault Mr. Evolution for allowing black females an adaptive advantage for living in Africa.

Also, can’t fault whites for not having a predisposition towards selecting a steapygic female - assuming both are not living in the African sun all day long. And, shouldn’t fault white females who choose not to risk the increased likelihood of beatings or worse - in this instant case, vastly worse.

Culture counts, and MeganC seems to have agreed with Abraham Lincoln regarding black and white living together. Such marriages can work out, as Justice Thomas and Mrs. Thomas have demonstrated.
