A grisly killing in a small town in Mississippi has local residents on edge and looking for answers.
A blond-haired teenager with no known enemies was found walking down a rural road on fire Saturday night. She had been beaten, doused with lighter-fluid and set ablaze.
Jessica Chambers Jessica Chambers, 19, of Panola County was found engulfed in flames near the charred shell of her car sitting on the roadside in the town of Courtland. The town has a population of 460.
She was flown to a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, but later died. Preliminary autopsy results reveal Jessica died of severe burns to 98 percent of her body, according to a report by Fox affiliate WAFF of Huntsville, Alabama.
“They have ripped everything I have,” Lisa Chambers, Jessica’s mother, told WAFF. “She left to go clean out her car and was going to get her something to eat.”
Jessica never made it home.
Her father, Ben Allen Chambers Sr., said investigators told him his daughter whispered something to first responders before going unconscious. He and others believe Jessica told them who her attackers were.
“When the fire department got there, she was walking down the road on fire,” he said in WAFF’s report. “Only part of her body that wasn’t burned was the bottom of her feet.”
Fighting back tears, the father then described how his daughter’s attackers knocked her out, and squirted lighter fluid down her throat and in her nose.

EVERYDAY I read in every paper about “White Privilege”. EVERDAY I see on MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN about “White Privilege”. ALL Universities are shoving this racist term down students throats.
White Privilege is a despicable racist term used to destroy whites. It is just as unacceptable as an racist term used on blacks.
There is not a week that goes by where I don’t see a youtube video or a World Star HipHop video where blacks are beating whites for racial fun.
There is not a week that goes by where I don’t see a “buried” article where black(s) have beat, raped, murdered, tortured a white.
Yet righteous anger is racist. And pointing out facts is racist. Protecting yourself from violence is racist.
And this is our Country today. We are a nation of weak white men.
What they said was "interracial couples demonstrated a higher level of mutual IPV than monoracial white couples but a level similar to monoracial black couples".
In other words, inter-racial couples see a violence level similar to black couples. And black domestic violence level is high. While it's hard to get the federal data, in Oklahoma, for example, blacks committed 23% of domestic homicides while being 7.4% of the state's population
(Adding): it’s not surprising that the inter-racial homicide rate is very close to the black-couple rate, since most inter-racial couples seem to be white-woman/black-man, and the male commits 77% of domestic homicides (according to the first link in my prior post)
people have to start realizing that what moves large groups of people is NOT intelligence, or thinking of any sort....people are moved and controlled simply by emotion....
and when you have fast talking emotional people they will dominate the conversation....
look at Biden shouting over the pub vp in the debates...
who looked stronger?...who looked more intelligent and appealing?....the LOUD AND THE BRASH will always get the last word....
so people...stop waiting for people to "come to their senses"...
violence and destruction is only stopped by fighting back, passionately....

You are correct (though I'm a bit younger than you and my earliest memory would be at my grandparents in Charleston, SC in the early 1970s when I was about six) and I think LBJ's "Great Society" is to blame.
The welfare state of the last fifty years has destroyed blacks, especially black families. Blacks made tremendous gains after World War II, by the 1960s there were prosperous middle-class black communities throughout most of America (we can leave the Deep South out of the discussion), they were experiencing the American Dream.
Then the welfare state came along and the out-of-wedlock birthrate among blacks skyrocketed overnight and the black family system collapsed. We've now had two full generations of blacks of whom a major percentage were raised without fathers. Today, many black males grow up thinking their only chance of success is in crime, professional sports or rap music and females are told that they exist only for sex.
Look at TV from the early 1970s, "The Jeffersons" and "Sanford and Son" were about blacks who wanted the better life that the American Dream offered. Martin Luther King's Dream was for blacks and whites to be UNITED in the American Dream. Today, black entertainment is aimed almost solely at the black thug culture and white kids who think it's cool.
And ALL of this is the result of liberals telling blacks to do whatever they want because the government will take care of them.
when push comes to shove, freepers are there to support good honest people of any color..we're not into racism...we're into people....

Sorry to disagree, but we passed the tipping point in 2010. It has lickety split down the road to perdition since then. When the half breed took the law into his own hands AND NOBODY DID A DAMN THING ABOUT IT is when the republic was killed.

You inserted the modifier “much”, that is a misrepresentation. You also assert based on your observations that white woman/black man relationships represent a majority of those studied - that information is not given. Citing scientific papers is fine, but don’t read into them things that aren’t there.
