Testimony given under oath is considered evidence. Many of these women gave sworn testimony in their depositions for one of the cases against Cosby, which he settled out of court. It may not be the best type of evidence in the case, but it is still considered evidence. Juries are free to consider this type of evidence when deciding a verdict. Many people are sitting in prison because of testimony given by a witness.

testimony of itself is not evidence, it is open to cross examination...many people are not it prison because testimony was proved to be a lie via cross examination. Sometimes for the rich and famous, its not worth the time and effort to go to court not to mention the cost. Or they just leave the country like Roman Polanski...raped a young teen, was convicted and can never come back to the US as there is an open arrest warrant for him...Hollywood loves the pig.
