“What the heck is an executive action anyhow?”
Back in the day it was the name for taking out a leader we didn’t care for.
For the current meaning, an “action” is no more than a recommendation that the president would like to see happen - it holds no weight of law. But - obama WILL liken it to an actual Executive Order (which IS law), but not sign one so he won’t be held accountable for not following the constitution.
I think he has shown that the people and our congress are idiots - so he can get by with it. (How many threads have there been on FR talking about the Executive Order for amnesty?)
