I wonder how the cops determined she knew her killer. Such a tragic story.

Sounds like there was one too few firearms at the scene of that atrocity.

Most likely no signs of forced entry to the property.

A
December 7th report stated:
"Police were called to the home at 12:12 p.m., and said a relative had discovered Blairs body. As police taped off the home and street, neighbors said they saw a man in his 20s nervously pacing the street in front of Blairs home with blood on his pants."
Later stories have dropped that claim.

I have zero - 0 - information (just to make that clear) but there might have been circumstantial evidence that the killer was known to her. For instance: no sign of forced entry. No evidence of a rampage through her property and belongings. Table set for two with half-eaten Christmas cookies and half-consumed coffee...
Police make inferences from evidence.

Technically, the cops are saying that the killer knew her, not that she knew the killer. Which sounds a bit stranger than the usual construct.
The fact that they say that “there isn’t a risk to the public. “ seems even stranger with no release of a name and no arrest.
