President Barack Obama got unusually personal during an interview about race relations that aired Monday night on BET.
The president spoke about his experiences as a young black man and opened up about concerns he has about the way his daughters, Sasha and Malia, and future grandsons could be treated in society because of their skin color.
'I want my children to be seen as the individuals that they are, and I want them to be judged based on the content of their character and their behavior and their talents and their gifts,' he told BET's Jeff Johnson.
'I don't want them to be objects of fear simply because of misguided attitudes.'
Obama said that part of what makes the racial tension exploding in America 'so heart breaking and frustrating for a lot of folks' is 'the recognition that simply by virtue of color, you've got less margin for error.'
That's particularly true for black boys,' Obama said....

I would judge his daughters by a far more serious standard than their skin color (I’m as indifferent to that detail as I am to eye color). I would initially judge Natasha and Malia by their parents, assuming that the children of evil, self-centered, narcissistic socialists would most likely be enemies of my country and of God. If they proved I was wrong, I would revise that assumption, but they would have to overcome a strongly negative initial expectation.
His “future grandson” will probably be aborted by his daughter so that they will not have that “mistake”. I believe Clown Prince nobama said he wanted them to avoid such a “mistake”. Isn’t Clown Prince nobama abusing his daughters by being their purported father?

The Eric Garner video bothered me. Obama's right on that one - I don't care what the grand jury said - the way Garner was treated was wrong. Also, I would not want to see Obama's grandsons or son-in-laws treated roughly based on the color of their skin. When Obama sees the world through the eyes of being a father - he's at his best...he's made some good points here...
That said, I also resented the crap out of having a President weigh in on the thug Brown in Ferguson even before he had the facts. Obama jumped to the conclusion because it was 'white police' they must be being abusive. Not so. Wilson was defending his life from a black thug. Obama owes Wilson an apology.
Step one on better race relations might be to acknowledge blacks and whites don't have to like each other to be fair with each other.
Whites don't have to 'prove' we 'like' Asians by saying, "I have a Chinese friend" or 'my bother's married to a Japanese woman'...
Time to stop that silliness with blacks too.
Cultural differences are too great - blacks and whites see the world differently... When the 'we have to be friends' meme is off the table we can get down to dealing with friction points between us THAT ARE SOLVABLE - a good place to start...

You got that...and so did I. few if any understand protocol in this administration....and could care less IMO....which is reflected in who this administration “entertains” in the White House and how they conduct themselves abroad.
