The midterm sweep left 1-2 slivers of coastal territory and splotches of interior to Dems. Dems have literally "hundreds of votes" under their control (/snix).
Democrats now control votes in the inner city, gangland strongholds, sleazy Hollywood motels, landfills, Indian reservations, pineapple plantations, fast food joints, Boston beaneries, coastal clam shacks, surf shops, flop houses, gay bathhouses, and payday loan mills.

True, but that's not how the electoral college
works. The population density is much less in strongly conservative states than in liberal states.
Hillary is a nagging pain, but she is a very familiar nagging pain, and the Republicans don't have a candidate who comes close to that degree of familiarity with most people who aren't political junkies. If she runs (and I think she might still have some trouble walking) she is going to be very difficult to defeat.
