While I was hoping for a 60-40 trouncing, I guess I can be happy with 58-42. :=)
Mary Landrieu Is Defeated by Bill Cassidy in Louisiana Senate Runoff
If it holds at 42, Nate Silver nailed it. He runs multiple computer simulations and then takes the average, as I understand it.
Has she conceded yet ?
Fail Mary is in the midst of her concession.
Time for her to exit stage left!
Boo hoo little Mary Traitor
how does your garden grow
you spread that crap Obummer was dishing
now it is your idle butt that will be spreading.
At the time you were posting 9:09p, ML was making her concession speech from the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans.
Nothing will change. Nothing. If the GOP had the White House, 70 senators and 300 representatives, nothing would change. I’ve seen this movie before and I know the ending. Nothing will change.

election results toward the bottom
Senate breakdown up above. 44/53 at present with LA to make it 44/54.
Thanks for interjecting some realism into this discussion. It’s a hollow “victory.” And I doubt Cassidy will really be that conservative.
In the South, Democrats will be left without a single governor or U.S. senator across nine states stretching from the Carolinas to Texas. The House delegations from the same region are divided almost entirely by race, with white Republicans representing majority-white districts, while majority non-white districts are represented by black or Hispanic Democrats.
Good news!
No one deserved to lose an election more than the once popular Mary. She never met an abortion of which she didn’t approve. It’s amazing that she got 43 percent considering her record.
It’s kind of like a football game. The outcome doesn’t really matter, but some people think it does.
TX still has at least one white Democrat in the House: Lloyd Doggett and probably another. Is Gene Green still in office from Houston?
I’m confused. Not certain what you mean by, “if true.”
Thank you. But we don’t need another conservative in Congress. Liberalism vs. Conservatism is a false dichotomy. It’s really individualism vs. statism. We need congressmen committed to individual rights. Both liberals and conservatives are committed to big and bigger government. When so-called conservatives control the levers of power does federal spending go down? Are cabinet departments eliminated?
Do we avoid foreign entanglements? Are federal regulations eliminated? No. So conservatives are part of the problem, not the solution.
I will support so-called conservatives when they are fully committed to:
abolishing the Fed, returning to the gold standard, privatizing public education, getting the government out of health care, and ending the federal role in public assistance.
As far as immigration reform is concerned, conservatives should be advocating “Open Borders-—No Benefits.”
I prefer: closed borders and no benefits for those who snuck in before.
Ding Dong the Witch is Dead!
I was in NO last week and the television adds for her were horrible... grasping at blades of grass at best!
