“The SECOND the man gets in a physical confrontation with the cop he has fortified his life.”

I think the word you meant to use was FORFETED. At the conclusion of the altercation the dead man had been FORTIFIED with the addition of lead to his body.

Yes, it's a lot like taking vitamins.

He was shot for leading the office to believe he had a weapon in his resisting arrest.

It was the officer who made that mistake all on his own. He "thought" he felt the handle of a gun. How much of those "thoughts" were the result of his finding out he shot an unarmed man?

Apparently the criminal felt it was worth risking his life over the drugs.

He was trying to get away. Apparently that's justification for being shot by the police. Even when nobody was ever in any danger. Except for the dead suspect.

I don’t think that was why the cop shot him.

Unfortunately we'll never really know why the cop shot him. Just that he did.

no resisting arrest was!

So simply refusing to obey a cop's orders is grounds for getting shot. I thought that deadly force was supposed to be the last resort, not the first. That is was meant to be used only when the police officer's life was in danger, or the life and safety of another civilian was in danger. But in this case nobody's life was in danger. No gun was seen. No threats made. Just an unarmed guy trying to get away. And the cop shot him for it.

Al Sharpton’s mini-me, the Rev Jarett Maupin is weighing in now.

After talking with Brisbon’s family, the Reverend Jarrett Maupin called him a victim of police violence.

“He was unarmed. There just simply isn’t any evidence to suggest he was engaged in criminal activity other than somebody said they say something. And, if that’s all it takes then every black man and woman in the city is in jeopardy,” Maupin said.

The question is if that’s worth running, fighting an officer and getting shot over, because the drug dealers actions led to his being shot.

Why is deadly force the first option for cops to use? I always it was a last resort, to be used only if the cop's life was in danger or bystanders were in danger of death or injury. But that wasn't the case here. There was no threat to anyone's life. Except the suspect.

Unless the cop was shot at least twice, you would say it was not worth killing the perp.

How could the cop be shot even once since the guy he killed was unarmed?

Go troll under water at the sewage plant.

Then where would you go?

He was shot for leading the office to believe he had a weapon in his resisting arrest.

The officer arrived at that mistaken belief all on his own. Whether it was before he shot the guy or after, we'll never know.

Based on the 2012 stat there will be a black person killed by cops at the rate of 5 every two weeks. Some of these rioters will have to open franchises.

Yep we’ll here other interpretations of the event.

One I’ve seen said he was reaching into the back of Escalade for meals
he was dropping off to his children. Who knows at this stage what went down.

But if he had not ran I suspect he’d still be alive and the kids would have
gotten something to eat if that in fact what he was doing.
