There’s a real life guy named Barry who went to Oberlin College that is getting death threats and all kinds of other grief because that steaming crack Lena Dunham invented a rape story involving a mythical republican in purple boots who had a low voice and ran a radio show. The loonies Googled ‘barry Oberlin 2005’ and came up with some poor shmoe. She’s letting him twist out there.
