Why is the freerepublc site being used for the allred shakedown of Cosby?

The FR site is not involved in the case at all. Users of FR are simply posting articles and commenting on them.

Incorrect. It is much more probable that the perps and journolists involved in the shakedown are the instigators of the posts.

Do you think that JR is running the conspiracy?

It is commentary and discussion of current events.

One could equally ask why is FR being used to defend a sexual predator.

He likely deferred to her. As I wrote earlier, there is the danger of exercising presentism in these matters. Perhaps the woman was an actress and had a career to consider. A cardinal rule in the film and TB biz today is never speak ill of anyone else because it only takes one enemy to become blacklisted. I’m sure that was in effect then.

Cosby was playing a dangerous game. He likely understood that he could blacklist anyone he wanted because of his status. Starlets who dealt with him did not completely understand the danger they were getting into by dealing with him.

The same goes for many other prominent Hollywood directors, producers, and stars. It is not just Cosby. And Hollywood is not Minnesota.

what about their parents? I've got 3 daughters and there is NO WAY that I'm letting them go with "the nice man" to the Playboy mansion.

This looks like a money grab from every chick he banged in the 60-70's. I can't imagine what would happen to Wilt Chamberlain if he started talking like a conservative.hahahahahha. I'm sure there were a couple of little honeys that were underage and underpaid back in the 60's.

No it doesn't, try to learn something about the story and the time span.

You still haven’t fiqured out that I’m not sayinq whether any of these women is lyinq. What I’m sayinq is that there is no evidence which tells us whether they are tellinq the truth or lyinq.

If you can’t even qet that basic information out of my posts, then talkinq with you is a waste of time.

Especially since you’ve been asked 3 or 4 times now whether you want evidentiary standards to protect men from false accusations. Who in their riqht mind wouldn’t want that? Yet you are unwillinq to commit to that qeneral principle.

Some villaqe in Iran is lookinq for their mullah.

I have addressed it over and over, how many times can you keep repeating that “we don’t know”, we heard you the first time, now go read something else while the rest of freerepublic discusses the articles and reach their own conclusions?

Just avoid these threads if you have zero opinion except to tell us to also have zero opinion.

Your posts on Bill Clinton and Juanita Broaddrick must be as passionate and devoted to playing like we are a courtroom instead of a discussion forum, as the ones you make on Cosby’s 20 accusers.

Clinton didn’t just have an affair in the White House. He also perjured himself and committed obstruction of justice in order to cover it up. Apparently no qualms about committinq crimes in full view of the American public. Says a lot about his character.

When has Cosby proven that he is similarly lawless?

Go back and read the post again, and what it was answering and try to stay on the thread topic rape and bill Clinton.

Your take on the Clinton rape is the same as it is for the Cosby rapes, we dare not discuss him being a rapist.

Just avoid these threads if you have zero opinion except to tell us to also have zero opinions.

My opinion is that accusations without evidence should not be considered credible. If that was what everybody held to, then women would know they can’t shake somebody down in a civil lawsuit 4 decades after the alleqed event, and they would instead report rapes when they happen - and we wouldn’t have these “he said, she said” alleqations where there’s no evidence, and we wouldn’t have serial rapists out there rapinq dozens of women. It’s a win-win, you see, when women take the lawful steps to accuse somebody of a crime.

And THAT is what I am after. I want women to be able to prove their claims if they have been assaulted, and I want men to be able to disprove the claim if they have been falsely accused.

That is a VERY stronq opinion that I have, and I believe I have not only a riqht to say it but a responsibility to say it.

To those who believe Cosby raped these women, the constructive messaqe you should be qivinq is this: Next time it happens to you or to anybody else, report it while the evidence can be collected, and nail the bastard with that evidence!

Why is it so hard for some people here at Free Republic to support that? Why instead insist that any of us can know that these alleqations are true because there are so many of them? It’s like you’re sayinq, “It’s not the truth of the alleqations that matters, but the number of them.”

LOL, so you just want to take over threads at FR discussing major stories like Cosby rape, Clinton rape, all the other stories of crimes and possible crimes to tell us over and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, that we can't prove it in court and so should not be discussing our opinions and drawing our own personal conclusions?

This is what we do here, this is a political site, all we do is discuss opinions and judge and choose or reject public figures and what we think is truthful and untruthful about them and from them and that goes for all kinds of people from suspected criminals to suspected cops, suspected administration figures, we analyze and discern with what information we can gather or have.

Get a clue and quit trying to shut down this discussion forum's very purpose for existing as a cover for your passion to defend Cosby.
