Television. Every new sitcom or whatever has some gay character. They represent a low single-digit percentile of the U.S. population, but are vastly over-represented on television and film.
We have a winner.
It’s not just the number of gay characters on television, which is indeed wildly out-of-proportion. It’s also even the way just about ALL characters are written and performed in modern Hollywood. The kind of catty, gay dialogue and fey affectations permeating the entire output. It’s become the omnipresent norm.
It makes all of American culture look faggoty. A pajama-boy wimpishness that is in stark contrast to decades ago.
Its like 2% but its the tail waging the dog. Just like Muslims are only about the same %—we have more Mormons than Muslims in America. Blacks make up around 12% yet do over 30% of all Crime In USA. Looks like the old racists might have been right—they need to be controled -—
That’s definitely part of it.
Just look at the Hollywood percentage and you can see why.
