-> Those facts indicate negligence or recklessness, which were a component to many of the charges, yes.

How can anyone deem what was reckless / I wasn’t there holding down the 400 pound man (accidental, yes). I wonder if this is emotional thinking / the picture of the cops over top of a suspect. The jury didn’t see this as reckless apparently. True bill. They have more evidence than we do. When a person is told to calm down, move, put your hands behind your back, why resist / most of the times, a person isn’t going to win because the officer (s) could assume one meant to do them or someone else bodily harm.

I am reading conflicting messages on twitter than the man had a heart attack (due to the hold and his poor health) I’d like to wait to hear more info. I think it was irresponsible for Charles to say what he did without the testimony of the witnesses being released. The prosecutor is trying to get that released but the mayor says no..

Of course, I feel sympathy since there is a loss of life. The victim has been warned a number of times do not sell these cigarettes there. 8 tickets or alike. In the beginning, he was combative. I wish it turned out differently for both sides. I can’t see the cops went in to deliberately to kill this poor man.

I think most of us would say something like Sorry, sir, if we were stopped for a minor speeding ticket.

If we had had a wee few and were crossing against the light or weaving in the crosswalk we would more or less agree with a cop that grabbed our arm and made us try to walk the line.

There is no point in agressive argument with any cop and these gigantic hoodlums should have had someone to better educate them, but they are no doubt victims of the Great Single Mom Society and have thus not had real speak. “Son, you are a very big man and you have to always obey laws so as folks will not think you are a huge animal and difficult to restrain.”

Of course, this only pertains to current street encounters and does not deal with Obummer’s cops storming one’s home or neighborhoods where anyone could deal with thus invaders appropriately.

“How can anyone deem what was reckless”

Well, they used at least 2 maneuvers that were explicitly banned by the department’s use of force policy, for starters. Maneuvers that were specifically banned because they were too deemed to lethal to use to restrain people.
