Nope. It never does. I don’t think the cops would have harassed this guy if he was was not a habitual offender.

But the cop still used a choke hold to bring the guy down, which the NYPD allegedly does not allow, and he died. That should put a hell of a dent in the cop’s career.

Brown was a good shoot, no doubt about it. This incident doesn’t look so good.

In the end, freedom and liberty are not defined by how we treat the people of whom we approve, but how we treat the people we despise.

Patrick Lynch stands by his claim that this was not a choke hold. But I don’t think the technical definition matters all that much. I guess it does if what the cop did was legal rather than illegal. You will see why this is more complicated when the evidence is released.
