I do have some problems with the Garner arrest but wouldn’t charge the officer with murder. It does emphasize the axiom “If you’re being arrested, comply!” A live Garner might have had a harassment case but he screwed up by resisting. Selling single cigarettes should be a ticket offense. Pay a fine and that’s it.

New York has very restrictive regulations on just who can conduct business and where they conduct that business. This micro managed over regulation is a hallmark of the DeBlassio reign in NYC.
So the cops are getting fried for enforcing DeBlasio’s oppressive anti business agenda of aggressive, micro managed over regulation of every aspect of business in NYC?
