President Obama spoke briefly today on the grand jury decision in the Eric Garner case, calling it an American problem whenever anyone in the United States is not being treated fairly under the law.
The president said he understood peoples frustrations and lack of confidence in the justice system, while acknowledging that law enforcement has a very difficult job.
But ultimately, Obama said, its incumbent upon all of us as Americansregardless of race, region, faiththat we recognize that this is an American problem. He concluded, When anybody in this country is not being treated equally under the law, thats a problem.

Did President Obama take a look at the grand jury report? Why is he telling them that they were wrong?
Unfortunately the 400 lb man had several serious health issues that contributed to his untimely death. He himself may have contributed by resisting arrest. There was no choke hold.
Why does not the President look at the facts, acknowledge the facts, and then connect the dots if he can?
Where is the "American Problem" when the justice system appears to work as designed, if you look at the facts of the matter?
