AP/Tony Gutierrez Senator Ted Cruz. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) attacked what he described as " the Obama-Clinton foreign policy" in a wide-ranging speech on Tuesday.
"It's almost as if the whole world is on fire right now," Cruz said at a Washington event hosted by Concerned Veterans for America. "Leading from behind doesn't work."
As an alternative, Cruz presented his own three-part plan for "r easserting American leadership in the world." The first step, Cruz said, was making sure the US government again becomes a voice for freedom.
"We should be a clarion voice for freedom. Never underestimate the power of the bully pulpit of America," Cruz said, citing former President Ronald Reagan's speech urging the Soviet Union to tear down the Berlin Wall. " One of the most striking and inexplicable aspects of the last six years is the almost complete absence of American leadership speaking out for freedom."

“.....Cruz needs to put together some paid prime-time tv spots explaining in plain language whats going on,”........
Its going to take some pretty big cash to achieve what you are suggesting. In addition to that cash, Criz is challenged with rasing enough money to get him the presidency. It can be done but it will take some doing.
“Is it just me or is Obama getting uglier as time passes...”..
Nothing has changed, he’s still ugly.
It appears to me that Boehner and McConnell are going to conduct business as usual with Team Obama during the rump session. Furthermore, no one seems to have a Program, a Plan, or a Leadership team set up for January.
Am I seeing more than is really there, or have the "Republicans" (whatever TF THAT is nowadays) already lost momentum? Looks like Team Obama was more prepared for "Republican Victory" than the "Republicans."

Cruz has to take steps with “timing” in mind.....especially if he’s running for Pres.....he can’t reveal his hand this early.... Especially since he’s been gearing up on the Amnesty Issue. There’s a reason the Republican Party is in-fighting. Cruz has much more clout then most realize.
“Republicans” (whatever TF THAT is nowadays) already lost momentum?
...
The GOPe is back to being its crappy self and waging war against conservatives rather than Democrats.
Lawless and classless.
Yes...and one angry/bitter black woman.
