I never thought I'd be an open-carry advocate.
However, I'm a firm believer in working within the American political system in order to change the status quo. If the Second Amendment is cherished by millions of Americans, then why not use it to further certain liberal ideals? Protecting African-American lives and alleviating tensions between the black community and law enforcement should be a top priority of all Americans and especially Congress; however, this is not the case. It speaks volumes that African-Americans vote over 90 percent Democrat during national elections, yet our future nominee in 2016 still hasn't addressed an issue the whole nation is talking about, even after Darren Wilson's acquittal and the flames that engulfed Ferguson.

If both Trayvon and Michael Brown had behaved like civilized person instead of thugs bent on lethal assault, they would be alive now.
And if George Zimmerman and Darren Wilson had been unarmed, they would likely be dead now.
End of story. Gun versus thug, gun wins most of the time.

His main point is an exceptionally good one, except it doesn’t go far enough. Not just black men, but all black adults should carry, and not just openly, but concealed as well. It is their right as well as a very good idea.
And not surprisingly, the worst oppressors of black people, criminal black people, would be severely hindered in oppressing honest black people. Gangsterism would be muted, because honest black people would be able to not tolerate them in their neighborhoods.
However, this being said, there are a lot of errors in what he wrote, and yet, correcting these errors would not undermine his arguments at all.
The first of these were about an armed citizenry vs. a tyrannical government. He suggests that were Germans armed (well, really, the Jews) it wouldn’t have mattered because the German army and police were so powerful.
History says otherwise. When the Nazis decided to purge the Warsaw (Poland) ghetto of Jews, the Jews had fewer than a half dozen guns and little ammo. But they got more, a little bit here and there, and suddenly the “degree of difficulty” of what the Germans tried to do skyrocketed.
Nazi German casualties were soon in the hundreds, and the timetable to clear out the ghetto kept getting extended. The Nazis had to keep pouring reinforcements into the situation, and it turned into a significant military campaign.
Had all the Jews in Germany been armed, German military casualties would have been in the tens of thousands, and Germany would have what amounted to a civil war, that could have severely impacted their economy.
In any event, if black adults of good character want to be armed, they need to do so in a methodical manner. The experience of gun liberty advocates is that it takes time for the public and police to adjust to the idea of gun liberty for anyone. And it will undoubtedly take the public and police to be relaxed around armed black people.
So “normalization” is the key.
I would recommend that armed black adults hook up with gun liberty advocates, and join them in openly carrying in public places. This will help overcome the novelty of the situation. Over time, more armed black adults and fewer armed white adults, as people adjust to the new status quo.
Once an area is used to black people openly carrying, then expand the territory. Make sure the police know what is going on as well. To have them as allies if someone panics over the sight of an armed black person, is golden.
As with other gun liberty, it will take a while, but it is worth the effort to fully exercise your rights.

I don't see any prohibition for felons carrying in MY Constitution. Anyone you can't trust to be armed should not be running around loose.
The requirement for any permit is an unconstitutional infringement upon our God given rights as recognized in the second amendment.
And in Brown's culture, only nerds (or whatever the ghettospeak term is) would use it unlaced.

I have no knowledge of that, and I don’t care if the scumbag was hallucinating or not.
My beef is that lying about pot led people in the 60s to think that they were probably lying about cocaine and heroin as well.

True but some combinations produce MORE interesting effects.

I don’t think that the authorities that reported that Wilson had so much marijuana in his system that he could have been hallucinating, was referring to the clinical interpretation of the word, but rather to the inability to interpret his situation rationally and act accordingly.

Funny how the MSM seems to think their system of justice trumps the real system and laws of this country...
We see this every single time a “high profile” darling little angel black child is murdered by those dastardly white Cops in our country...

We see the ripple effect even tonight in NYC, where apparently justice will never be achieved unless the Cops in this country that defend themselves, or lawfully discharge their commissioned duty in their jurisdictions, in accordance to their state law are eventually publically executed...
We can thank the low intelligence of a large portion of a certain racial demographic for that situation...
Those very same people are the ones turning every event into a “race” thing...
Oh well...
