The (unwritten) rule was that, as long as they stayed out of active politics they were supposed to be off limits. Once they enter the fray they are fair game.
I’m conflicted because this (the reference to todd) is another case of the left eating the left but they are certainly skirting the line ;’)

Did one of them enter the fray by wearing a peace sign T-shirt while her commander-in0chief father was having his troop surge? I assumed it was just ghetto ignorance as opposed to a planned statement (since that would have made no sense at all).
