I guess the best way I can explain that is: the pen is (obviously) able to win the battle, but I don’t think expansive Legislation will be written...and enacted.
Zer0Care pretty much put me over the edge on that idea. I don’t care how they package it, forcing me under threat of law to pay for something is unConstitutional.
And I haven’t seen anything written/enacted that repeals that. I’m still waiting.
But apparently what I think is Constitutional and what the USSC, some pols, etc. think is Constitutional is different.
Which brings me back full circle to meaningful Legislation not being written. Ergo, the pen won’t fix it because it won’t be used.
I think we’re permanently off the Constitution Path, and only a revolution will put us back on it.
I’d certainly like to be proven wrong though, and I think Cruz is the best thing we have going.
So would I.
Legislation is being written by the stroke of the president's pen, it has the force of law and requires a super majority vote by both houses to undo it, therefore I say the pen is rewriting the constitution every time he does it.
Most here think us too negative but trying to be positive about untreated cancer makes no sense.
