What a dumbazz, they shame themselves by doing it, not because it’s reported.
It’s still okay to fat shame people though and enforce limits on soda size, eliminate buffet dining, charge additional $$$ for airplane seats, deny immigration to New Zealand, etc...
Sorry, but having a 60 inch TV isn’t a “need”, nor is the latest style in leather boots or lacy underwear. Now if these people were fighting over food or real necessities then this stupid author would have a point.
Actually glanced through this Pinko’s screed to see if he presented evidence that these Are How Rich People Shame The Poor.
Not surprised when I didn’t see any.
Just my opinions of course.
So how are all those poor people shopping at all?
There was a day when people who didn’t have much worldly wealth still conducted themselves with dignity.
It’s lack of class and upbringing more than lack of money. I may want to throw in lack of brain matter as well.
The liberal world view colors everything they see. I don’t notice whether the feral animals fighting over a discounted TV are black or white. I don’t even think of them as poor. What poor person has $500 or $1,000 for a TV, even if it’s ON SALE? The few times I see such scenes, I’m just disgusted at people fighting over stuff.
I don’t have a big screen TV, even though I could easily afford the best. I have much more important things in my life than the materialistic objects that liberals claim not to care about, and I wish those fighting over Black Friday (and worse - shopping instead of spending more time on Thanksgiving with family) would focus on the things that matter instead of on buying stuff, even cheap stuff.
Your tax dollars at work. Because a 60" TV is a Right.
That message goes back to Terry Southern's The Magic Christian.

I couldn't find the clip of the "discount" store panic though.
Oh goody another stupid ‘journalist’ who has never held a real job (sorry bartending doesn’t count doooooood) telling others about shame. The only ‘white privilege’ that I am getting sick of is the white liberal telling me how ‘guilty’ I should feel
It was riveting the first time.
Now it’s just riot porn.
I’m not rich and I think that Black Friday brawls are just dog-fighting with willing animals.
Yes, trying to lay on the white guilt.
>>Next year I will wear a top hat, monocle, and drink fine wine when I do.
Very proper indeed! I might dress up like Mr Peanut next year and go watch the spectacle in person...from a distance and upwind, of course.
The poorest in this Country are better off than 90% of the People living on this Planet.
Nowadays being Poor means you have Air Conditioning, Heat, Subsidized Housing, get a Tax Refund of up to $5,000 (EITC) even though you don’t pay any Income Taxes, free Medicaid, a Flip Phone and a measly 40” Flatscreen.
Oh, I forgot, even Obamaphones are Smartphones.
And yet, they still complain...
Ummmm....how do you know if they are rich or poor?
Mixed in with those, perhaps unsurprisingly, are a bevy of comments comparing the shoppers to animals, or savages, or making horrifically offensive racist comments.
I’m getting tired of people who have racist thoughts and who deal with them by attributing them to EVERYONE ELSE and then scolding them.
