Wilson was not acquitted of a crime because he was never on trial. The GJ simply hears evidence and makes a decision to recommend or not recommend moving the case forward to POTENTIALLY be tried.
If the prosecutor see’s fit another GJ can be impaneled. However unless new evidence is uncovered this won’t likely happen.
