San Francisco had it's own king, Emperor Joshua Norton. He proclaimed himself Emperor of the United States in 1859. Google it. One of his first decrees was to issue a decree abolishing Congress, calling them useless. He then ordered the commander-in-chief of our armies to clear the halls of Congress. No one took him seriously, of course, but we was given free meals at all restaurants and allowed to "reign" until his death in 1880. Unlike Obama, Emperor Norton had some good ideas. He proclaimed that a suspension bridge over the bay and tunnel under the bay be built, which was done in the next century exactly where he said it should be done. He was a good royal figure.
Now Obama on the other hand, upon becoming king would also order Congress abolished, but he's out to give free meals to invaders of our nation.

this title is not entirely accurate ...
If one does Google King of the United States , you get hits to the stories that suggest Google search leads you to that conclusion , which it does not . Only to the articles that mention it .

Breitbart web site has gone ‘round the bend. For the past month I cannot get it to load properly in IE10 and many times it hijacks the browser and AVAST shuts it down for safety reasons. Will rely on Drudge and FR from now on.
